Dip Attributes

The dip attributes are used to identify geological features in seismic data. However, different parameters of the data may enhance or destroy the data. Parameters such as event, gradient, and principal component have been used on the local structural dip and local structural azimuth.

To apply the dip attibutes, select ‘volume attributes’ from the geophysics tab under the processes window. Then we select ‘local structural dip’ attribute and input the seismic data cube. The attribute is then applied. This process is repeated for different computation method and also local structural azimuth attribute.
