Envelope Attribute

The envelope attribute is similar to the RMS attribute where it identifies bright spots and reflections. To apply envelope attributes, select ‘volume attributes’ from the geophysics tab under the processes window. Then we select ‘envelope’ attribute and input the seismic data cube. The attribute is then applied. This process is repeated for different parameters and the geological features are compared and interpreted.
