Horizon flattening
Horizon flattening is done to determine the depositional history of the area before the effects of deformation. This then represents the environment at the time when sediment was being accumulated. To flatten the horizon, first right click the seismic volume and select ‘flatten cube’.

Then, double click the new flattened volume in input window to show the settings. In the ‘Flattening’ tab, select the reference surface from the input window and enter the horizons and surfaces to flatten.
