Curvature Attributes

        Curvature attributes emphasize the geological setting of the seismic data such as faults and fractures.

        To apply curvature attributes, go to ‘volume attributes’ under the ‘Processes’ tab and double click. Select the ‘Structural methods’ category and ‘3D Curvature’ attribute. Input the seismic volume cube. First apply with preset parameters. If the features are not as desired, manipulate the parameters and ‘Apply’. This is applied for the minimum, maximum and mean curvature on all the surfaces and they are compared.
